Montenegro is adjacent to the Adriatic Sea in the west and the Balkan Peninsula in the east. It can be described in a word: the heart of Europe. Montenegro is the member state of the World Trade Organization and the Union for the Mediterranean. On December 17, 2010, European Union (EU) made a decision to enable Montenegro as a candidate country in the European Union, which will join the European Union before 2025. Montenegro formally became the 29th member country of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization on June 5, 2017.

Montenegro Citizen Investment Program
On October 1, 2018, in order to create new job opportunities and provide the impetus for social and economic development, the Montenegrin government officially announced a new economic citizenship program to foreign investors, allowing foreigners to be citizens of Montenegro by means of designated investment. This decision took effect on January 1, 2019, and will last until December 31, 2021. This Law will consecutively valid for three years (January 1, 2019-December 31, 2021) to provide the citizenship for 2,000 foreign investors as planned.
Montenegro Identity Application Requirements
1. The principal applicant is over 18 years old.
2. The spouse and children without marriage can be naturalized together (children must rely on the principal applicant economically and continue to study full-time).
3. There are no criminal records.
4. With good health, the certificate of physical examination shall be submitted.
5. The required investments are met:
Donate EUR 100,000 to the government, and invest EUR 250,000 in the real estate projects --Bobotov Hotel & Resort.
